Paternalism what is it and how do we break free? How is it affecting our families and other relationships? This is part 2 of Exposing the Religious Spirit. Here, we go deeper and challenge the Hebrew Roots Community to confront this enemy. Men as leaders of households have learned to avoid anything dealing with a spiritual reality and instead they tend to gravitate toward acquiring more knowledge. We challenge men that in order to be true leaders of their homes, they need to embrace the biblical truth that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against ruling forces in heavenly places (Ephesians 6). We have to look in the mirror because it starts with us!
